laMercedes is a new 90,000 sqm eco-neighbourhood designed for people, car-free and surrounded by large green areas across its squares and streets. A sustainable, dynamic and wellbeing-focused environment, designed for a new way of living in the city.

The city blooms
laMercedes is conceived as a large green extension that expands the Camí Comtal Park, creating a continuous natural landscape in the heart of the city.
Once you arrive at laMercedes, the greenery throught its pedestrian streets, transformed into true green corridors that continue the Camí Comtal Park. All of this converges in a large central square, the epicentre of the neighbourhood, where nature and the city exist in harmony.
The space is organised around two main axes, running north–south and east–west, which connect the “eco-neighbourhood” with its urban surroundings.
These axes create a hierarchy of streets and squares, prioritising pedestrians and green spaces.
The interior space of the “eco-neighbourhood” is concieved as an area of opportunity, featuring meeting spaces, social areas and gardens.
